Throwing Porcelain – Workshop
This workshop is all about working with porcelain, the most alluring, and elegant of ceramic materials! Throwing porcelain uses skills and techniques unique to this beautiful, seductive material. Focusing on hand positions and the effective use of tools can dramatically increase your chances of success with porcelain. Shannon shares insights from over two decades of working with thrown porcelain forms.

This workshop is designed as a journey through using porcelain! Expand your techniques and build your creative vocabulary. Heaps of tips and tricks to increase your knowledge and enable you to express yourself with thrown porcelain.
This workshop includes half a bag of Mid-fire Lumina porcelain. Participants are asked to bring their own throwing tools, aprons and water containers and boxes for transporting any thrown works.
Firing is not included in the workshop fee.
