Cherie Noble has a love of sculpture and functional ceramics. Cherie has guided many students to find their own creativity , helping them to develop skills and find their own style in ceramics so they can create what they desire. Cherie teaches all aspects of ceramics including wheel, handbuilding, sculpture and surface decoration. Whether you want to throw small bowls, create sculptural works, learn hand building techniques, or learn to combine different mediums, Cherie will work with you to make exactly what you want.

Cherie came to ceramics after completing a Bachelor of Digital Media, Fine Arts where she focused on sculpture and video installations to comment on marine plastic pollution. In 2018 Cherie took an internship with Firebird Studios to learn the technical aspects of ceramics. During this time Cherie worked with Lynda Lehman to create “Bower” for Swell Sculpture Festival, a sculpture made from marine plastic, ceramic tiles, and camphor laurel which is now positioned at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
